As former WA coordinator of the Marine and Coastal Community Network, Giz is passionate about coastal and marine conservation.  

The impact on the marine and coastal environment through the dredging of the Fremantle Harbour has been of concern to the Greens for some time. The Greens have asked the Minister for  Environment to put an immediate halt to the project and order the reassessment of its environmental impact.
