Giz believes that there are unacceptable environmental, health, security and social costs associated with the nuclear industry.

She believes that there are alternatives to a nuclear fuel chain that ends in nuclear waste or nuclear weapons.

Giz has been a consistent advocate against uranium mining in Western Australia – most recently through a private member’s bill to ban uranium mining in the State.

Giz supports community campaigns and initiatives to keep Western Australia free of uranium, including -
